	I want to thank you for visiting The Nebraska Fireworks Retailers Association (NFRA) website. I am the president of our association . My name is Marv Kohler, and I have been in the retail fireworks business in Nebraska for 48 years. The purpose of our association is four fold: Promote the sale and safe and legal use of all 1.4G (Consumer Fireworks) for the enjoyment of everyone. Educate the public and the consumer on the safe use of fireworks. Establish programs through which the dissemination of information to the public and to the members of the association may be accomplished through meetings, publications, government bodies and the use of the media or other forms of communications. Encourage and promote the fireworks industry in Nebraska before the legislature, executive, judicial, and administrative branches of state and local governments in Nebraska. We would like to invite you to stop into one of our members retail locations in the state. The laws in Nebraska allow us to retail fireworks for ten days each year from June 25 thru July 4th. This, however, does depend on local laws, which may be less than 10 days in certain locations. I want to stress that we can sell many items in Nebraska that are sold in states around us. Most retailers, for example, are selling Double and Triple Break Artillery Shells as well as many of the great 500 gram displays. Other things that I think will excite you are the big selection carried by most retailers, and the fact that Nebraska prices have been found to be much lower than in surrounding states.
